In a world of chaos, where the gods of nature are clashing, the god of the underworld is releasing demons and is taking control. However, there is, but one fourteen year old boy who can resolve this madness. His name is Percy Jackson.
Percy Jackson is the son of Poseidon and is powerful beyond belief, but he has yet to know how to use his powers. He has many questions to be answered, and only one person can answer them, his mom. Percy Jackson's mother knew Poseidon and gave birth to Percy. She knows everything that you need to know when it comes to the gods.
Percy's mother Sally Jackson's point of view would change the look on this book dramatically. Throughout Percy's life she loved Percy, but that was why she had to protect him. He was away all the time at different boarding schools. In her point of view she would be depressed and be missing her son and be annoyed with the forced marriage between her and her smelly husband Gabe, but when Percy stays for a summer, she a little on edge, but she is happy that Percy is now back on her side.
When the book is in the perspective of the reader you would realize that all of Percy's problems at school weren't because he was a messed up kid. As a reader you would understand that Sally and Percy are doing the best they can and that Percy is capable beyond belief.
